I am so very glad that I had a very loving Mama. I was even with her when she taught at the University. She had me strapped me to her. In turn, according to her, I was being nice, by no crying or giving her a hard time.
Maximizing newborn contact with parents, particularly the mother, encourages bonding, supports lactation and feeding with breastmilk, promotes cognitive development.
